Trees are starting to awaken

It's starting to get exciting out here; the cherry tree buds are just ever so slightly starting to swell.

Although it's a few days earlier than normal, we are hoping for a great harvest with beautiful fruit. Although, is that any different from every other year? ;)

So far we've accumulated significant chill portions. We are hoping that the trees received a well deserved rest this winter and will be back to a more normal pattern.
